Alice in Wonderland’s Mad Tea Party

This was one of the parties that was my favorite to plan.  My kids, at the time, were very into the Tim Burton version of Alice in Wonderland, so it was only natural for us to have a Mad Tea Party themed after the movie.

It was actually a party that I started planning well in advance, maybe 4 months out.  I hit up antique stores, garage sales, and eBay for teapots, clocks, and weird knickknacks.  The party didn’t really feel like work to plan; instead, it felt like a reason to shop, a purpose to my antique madness.
